Who doesn't like to be pampered? And what better time to put people in a relaxed and happy frame of mind than just before your wedding? Adding a little luxury to your wedding can help you and your bridesmaids have fun on the wedding day.
A growing tradition here in the U.S. is to bring the bridesmaids together a few days before the wedding for facials, manicures, pedicures, or all three. Another option would be for everyone to get massages. You can have this all done at your home, or go out to a local spa. It would be very surprising if a group discount was not available.
The tradition isn't specific, but the theme to go for is pampering. Another idea would be to have a hairdresser come by to help out with hair, tuck in flowers, and add finishing touches to you and your bridesmaids the day of the wedding.
Don't forget the food! The full enjoyment of a pampering session cannot happen on an empty stomach. If you are one of those brides who is trying to lose weight up until the very last minute, don't assume all of your bridesmaids are in the same situation. There is nothing that can reak more havoc than a room full of starving women. Sandwich and hors d'oeuvres platters are cheap and easy to come by at grocery stores and places like Costco or Sam's Club.
