More articles on the Weddings topic: Wedding Books
Bridal Bargains is a fantastic book full of advice I had never heard before (and I am one that does a lot of research). It exposed scams in the wedding industry that cost brides thousands of dollars. I have only had the book for a few weeks and I have already saved quite a bit of money on my dress and invitations. The book is a fantastic resource for money-saving websites as well.
With a review like that... it's hard to not take a second look.
Included is a section on "The Four Truths About Weddings You Won't Read In Etiquette Books"
Among the four items is the fact that Weddings have become something that is not for you and your fiance, but instead a n event for parents and a huge "social torture test". I suppose for $4.95 they can't afford to smooth the edges. :)
The book provides an interesting perspective on the wedding industry and plenty of tips on how to get better deals.
