This is a very disturbing article, on many levels. News24 has a story about a bride in Pakistan who was gang-raped on her wedding night, with the consent of her husband and in-laws.

This is the result of a tradition in tribal and rural Punjab (an area in Pakistan), where women are married without their consent in compensation for a crime committed by one of their male family members.

The bride's father and other family members are angry and grief stricken. The groom watched while four of his friends sexually assaulted his bride, and then repeated the assault at the residence of another friend the following day.

Human rights activists and Muslim scholars condemn these marriages and customs.

The crime that was committed by the bride's brother, was that he was found guilty of having an illicit affair with the sister of the groom.

This sort of thing not only being tolerated, but encouraged by local leaders is a travesty. These people are twisted.
