Prenuptial stress is rampant these days as I'm sure you know. The Jennifer Wilbanks fiasco is a prime example. In an effort to help prevent massive outbreaks of runaway bride syndrome, at least one web site out there is offering a prenuptial stress test. A high score on the test indicates that you probably need to seek therapy or at the very least find ways to reduce your own stress level.
Traffic to the stress test website has tripled since the Wilbanks incident, but another factor to consider is the large amount of June weddings that are out there.
Planning a wedding is enormously stressful. There are worries about time constraints, expenses, satisfying all those pesky relatives, and performing in front of all those people. Trying to make the day perfect (like many have dreamed about for years) is an unrealistic goal and often brides forget that their wedding day is supposed to be a fun heartwarming experience to be looked back upon with fond memories.
One way to reduce your wedding stress level is to delegate tasks to your wedding party or family members. Another is to change your expectations. Things go wrong at every wedding. If you expect a few things to go wrong, and can even bring yourself to have a sense of humor about it your wedding will be a much better experience. You can take the stress test at this link: A Pre-Nuptial Stress Test
