John Thompson is a well known actor/comedian to you Brits out there. He married his long term parnter Samantha Sharp in a ceremony in Somerset. They held a champagne reception for 250 of their closest friends at Babington House, a luxury hotel, following the wedding ceremony at a local church.
The television star lost a few pounds before his big day. (Three stones, which I have no idea how that translates into pounds). He has starred as loveable loser Pete Gifford and was recently featured in a Diet Coke ad campaign. The couple has a two year old daughter Olivia.
The wedding will be featured in OK magazine, which bought exclusive rights to ceremony coverage for an undisclosed sum.
