More articles on the Las Vegas Wedding topic: Places to Get Married
Obviously, places that perform a wedding vary in location and appearance, but few people think about how long they will take while conducting a ceremony. Some are as short as 15 minutes.
Fact is though that if you pay for a service and expect a one hour nice unrushed ceremony and get 15 minutes instead, it will be a huge disappointment. A wedding is not something you can do again to get back that feeling either.
Some of the chapels will only give you more time for additional fees. Again, on your wedding day that is not something that you want to find out after the limo has already picked you up, or worse at the altar.
The best way to avoid this is to really listen to the person you are talking to about your wedding plans. Are they impatient with your questions or trying to hurry to get off the phone or constantly putting you on hold. Did they always answer when you call or do you have to leave messages and do they always return those in a prompt manner. All the little things can give you clues as to how they will treat you once you are there. A big clue, however, is to ask if your deposit is refundable and up until what point, i.e. 5min before, 1hr, 1 day, or 1 week before.
