More articles on the Weddings topic: Wedding News

The Seattle Times is reporting that Weddings are going from white to green - meaning that couples are tossing their traditional registries and asking guests for cash instead. They say that since this idea is more common, there is less stigma associated with such a blunt request.
On the film front, "A Lot Like Love" starring Amanda Peete and Ashton Kutcher is reportedly blatant plagiarism, stealing from "Four Weddings and A Funeral". Strangely it's also getting positive reviews. (Four Weddings was that good :))

They are hoping to boost the local economy and brides will benefit from reduced costs due to higher levels of competition among wineries.
On the religious front, Catholic Bishop Harold Miller (from Ireland) is publicly stating concern over the issue of gay weddings, criticizing the British Government for their tolerant politics.
On the celebrity front, Paris Hilton is planning two weddings - one in the U.S. and one in greece. Tom Cruise proposed to Actress Katie Holmes at the Eiffel Tower. On the pseudo-celebrity front, Jennifer Wilbanks made a public appearance on the today show and earned herself more than four times the fine she ended up paying for her runaway bride fiasco. She was not all that interesting.
