MultiBlog was the first plugin I installed successfully. Don't get me wrong, I haven't had any problems yet. The installation instructions were simple enough, and the documentation spells out exactly what you need to know pretty plainly.

I set up this website as 16 separate blogs - each covering a unique subject having to do with weddings. MultiBlog is useful for a lot of different reasons here. It provides me with the ability to roll all of the child blogs most recent entries up into the index page of the home page blog.

It gives me the ability to re-build the home page based on a new entry being published in any of the children, and it also gives me the ability to do cross-referencing in blogs - meaning the "recent entries" area can point to entries in all subject areas - not just for instance, Wedding Invitations.

Another bonus this gives you is the ability to see which blogs can reference which other blogs. By default, everyone has access to everybody else's blogs - but my direction for this site will be to eventually have several authors working these blogs and we may run into a situation where cross linking is not desired. I like to have a business rule option rather than a business process option.
