This weekend in Maine, a baseball themed wedding took place for a pair of die hard Boston Red Sox fans.
The wedding vows included promises to never root for the Yankees, although the groom quoted Yankees great Lou Gehrig by stating "Today, I consider myself the luckiest man alive. You are my heart and soul, the Love of my life."
The groom wore a Red Sox Jersey with Jason Varitek's name and number, while the best man decked himself out in a Curt Schilling jersey. The ushers all wore Red Sox shirts.
The reception followed the theme with guests dining on hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and beer. No peanut tossers in sight though.
The bride walked down the aisle to the tune "Take me out to the Ball Game". The bridesmaids wore carnations shaped like baseballs.
