The Royal Wedding between Prince Charles and Soon-to-be Princess Camilla has had its share of setbacks. Every Bride has to deal with a set of problems surrounding her wedding. Handling these problems gracefully is difficult and can prove to be a tremendous growth experience.

This article wasn't written to antagonize the leaders of England, but more to let Brides everywhere out there know that things could be worse.

The Royal wedding had problems from the get go. It was planned to announce the wedding on Valentine's day, the most romantic day of the year. British press, now known for holding on to secrets for very long, leaked the announcement early - forcing Clarence House to verify the news days in advance.

The wedding was originally planned to take place at Windsor Castle. A license to perform the ceremony there, it turns out, would force Windsor to be open to public weddings for a period of three years. The plans were relocated to a town hall in Windsor.

The Mother-in-Law, who in this case is literally the queen announced that she would not attend the ceremony, and neither would Prince Phillip. She gave a solid reason, but a public announcement such as this is devastating.

Then questions arose as to whether members of the Royal Family were even allowed to marry in civil ceremonies under British Law.

Controversy also erupted when it was announced that Camilla would become Princess of Wales upon her marriage - a title that will always be attributed to Princess Diana. (The other option would have been for Prince Charles to step aside, and letting his son William take his place in the line of accession.)
