Thanks to all the visitors from Digital Point who are reviewing my new site. It seems like a simple layout, but this really is the result of a lot of work on my end. I appreciate any input you might have for me.
There are navigation links at the top - this is built using a CSS drop-down menu. The links will take you to various pages in this web site, as well as allow you to change the color scheme that you are seeing.
As I get a little more organized, I will be posting the scripts I've made for public use - things like the "Link to this page" in the sidebar, the CSS Menu system, and anything else I can come up with.
(read on, there's more good info on the follow up page)
This site runs on Movable Type. The directory is powered by Mr. CGI Guy's HotLinks SQL - although I am not using a good deal of the features that are available.
Two important MT Plugins I'm using are MT-Blacklist - to help with comment spam, and Multi-Blog - which helps me manage all the different blogs. Each directory - or topic - is run under a separate blog. They all use the same page layout right now, but ideally these blogs will be run by different users in the future - once I have enough traffic and interest to support it.
I'm also using the asRep adsense tracking tool everywhere on this site - except within the directory. I'd have to rebuild the entire directory to do it, and I've already done that three times today :). I'd be curious if any of you have updates to that script that will track digital point advertisement clicks as well.

I just had to leave a comment here to test out the comment system before I invited anyone. I have an anti-spam filter in place that will hopefully be effective in preventing spam, but when getting started, I'd hate for everyone to have to register. If you have a TypeKey identity (i.e. if you already are a Movable Type User), you can use that here.
The comment templates are still out-of-the-box from Moveable Type. I'll be moving over to a vBulletin powered comment system before too long.
