If you are thinking about buying your wedding dress before you meet your husband, you might want to think twice.
Nicole Kidman believes that her wedding to Tom Cruise was doomed from the get go because she bought her dress before she even met him. She purchased her dress second-hand at a flea market!
It isn't a bad thing to do a little bit of bargain hunting. There are a lot of dresses out there in pristine condition that are beautiful.
Just do yourself a favor and wait at least until you are engaged. Getting Married is a lot of fun, and you don't want to take away from the experience by making decisions about your wedding beforehand.
Superstition being what it is, the dress probably had very little to do with Nicole and Tom's divorce. It probably was a lot of fun going out and purchasing the dress, but other things can happen. Your body changes over time (for better or worse) and that perfect fit probably will not be the same down the road. Styles and personal preferences change over time too.
