Wedding Dress design firm "Eve of Milady" looks to have some great dresses, but unfortunately their web site is too frustrating for me to get any research done. They've spent a good deal of money on prominent advertisements in several publications, but really have missed the boat in their attempts at satisfying their website visitors.
The link to the site itself is EVE OF MILADY & AMALIA CARRARA.
They apparently have made a few assumptions in their web design that IMO are really bad. They assume that 1) all their visitors have flash installed. 2) None of their visitors mind having a pop-up window open. 3) That all their visitors have broadband internet access. and 4) That everybody is just willing to wait around through a 30+ second intro every time they visit the site in order to view their wares.
Not a lot of history available at first glance on designer Amalia Carrara.
The dresses really are beautiful though from what I've seen. Since the internet experience leaves a little to be desired, I would recommend asking your bridal shop if they have any dresses from this designer to look at, or perhaps a printed catalog.

You are so right! I have had similar experience and I'm glad someone has finally said something about it. It is the most unhelpful website. I want information, not a flash show.

I agree 100%
I did notice the price range on The Knot and it had like 7 dollar signs so needless to say, if the price isn't on the website, then obviously, they think that we are not concerned with the amount we just would like to purchase the dress.
Yeah Right!?!?!?!

Yes, true the site is not very user friendly. You don't the number or name or season of any dresses and it is hard to even click on the ones you want to see. You can't even print it out. You could before but now that they have changed it to the flashing stuff it sucks! But I did buy my eve of milady wedding gown and IT WAS SO GORGEOUS and I CANT WAIT TO TRY IT ON. I really don't regret it even if their website is not that great!

I have to admit that their new website is horrible. What would suggest is to go to the Modern Bride website and use their search for dresses. They have both Eve of Milady and Amalia Carrera on there. You can pick the dress and it will also locate the stores that carry the dresses. This is how I found my dress and I have to say it was well worth the trouble. Also as far as price, if you catch the stores when they are having sales you can get a really good price.

My friend bought an Amalia Carrara at an authorized dealer (custom made, tags still on it), and is interested in selling it. Anyone interested? She will negotiate. It has never been worn or altered yet.

Julie,
I don't want you to get superspammed because of the email address posted here, but I realize you want to communicate with natalia. I'll remove the email address late this evening.

I am looking for a specific wedding gown from Eve of Milady. But their web site doesn't say much. I need to know where I can get a gown for my wedding.

The website shows a list of all authorized dealers. Check the authorized boutiques that are near you, and stop in to see if they carry the one you want. I am selling A8, but in white/silver, not ivory/gold.
