Great design at a fair price. That's the way Watters & Watters Vice President Maria Prince describes their bridal gowns.
Their designs lean to the simpler side of the street, emphasizing smooth and quality fabrics with more thought put into the shape of the dress. You won't find a lace covered, pearl laden dress by Watters, but what you will find is simple and beautiful elegance.
Less lace means that caring and preserving the dress after the wedding is easier and less expensive. It also means that the cost of the dresses themselves are reduced from what you will typically see.
Of course they offer a series of bridesmaids dresses to compliement their wedding gowns as well.
Their Wtoo line is a set of gowns that are somewhere between elegant and whimsical. Certainly worth looking into for your wedding reception or wedding rehearsal dresses.
They also have a set of gowns for flower girls in their "WaWa" collection - again emphasizing form, fashion, and smooth fabrics and turning away from styles heavy in lace or other accoutrements.
No trunk shows coming from Watters and Watters. They do have a Store Finder utility on their web site. There are a large number of boutiques carrying their lines in most states, although finding a store that stocks their "WaWa" line seems to be a little more difficult.
