More articles on the Wedding Flowers topic: Advice
Let's face it, the bridal bouquet and bouquets in general are the toughest part of wedding floral arrangement. So taking those out, or, more to the point, paying for them to be done, still leaves a lot that you can do yourself...pretty easily. Check out these websites...
How to Make a Boutonniere for a Wedding or a Prom - eHow.com
This site will teach you how to make many of the wedding flowers you need.
You can order flowers from:
www.freshroses.com , also called 2G Roses, who does a lot more than just roses. However, it is hard to beat Roses starting as little as 60 cents per stem.
Or try www.eflowerwholesale.com , based in California, affiliated with the Oakland Flower Market and with over 75 years of experience.
www.waxwizard.com or www.bridalshopstore.com
These stores sell the components to make wedding floral centerpieces. Of course, since they sell the wedding floral components, they have numerous pictures that are great ideas, so just going there for the ideas is worth it.
Another one would be www.oriental-trading.com, which has a great many options for floating candles, tapers, votive candles and pillars.
Check out www.ribbon-trade.com, which obviosly specializes in ribbons. Yes you have to buy large quantites, but most weddings require large quantities.
