Redirecting your Gifts to Charity

Couples all over the place are asking that in lieu of a gift, a donation be made to charity. It's even more popular with second or third weddings, when the couple already has the essentials to start a new home.

When selecting a charity, it is important to make a well thought out decision. Many charities don't give a significant amount of their funding to would be beneficiaries.

Gifts for your Wedding Party

Providing gifts for bridesmaids and groomsmen is a long standing tradition. The gifts need not be elaborate, but it is a way of saying thank you for all the help they've given you during the planning process.

Many couples also provide gifts to others who have helped them out, such as the parents, ushers, and close friends who have been involved but are not in the wedding party.

Finding an original gift is not easy. Often the same gift is purchased for all the groomsmen, and the same gift for all the bridesmaids. This way nobody gets jealous.
