More articles on the Wedding Invitations topic: Invitation Advice
Wedding invitation shopping can be overwhelming. Go into any stationary store or check any online resource and you are inundated with thousands upon thousands of design styles. Have a strategy on how to narrow down your list of potential inviations.
Your final decision will more than likely be cost based, but it is a good idea to have a relatively stringent budget number in mind before you reach your first store. The fancier the invitation, usually the more expensive they are. Invitations can run you anywhere from $2.50 an invitation all the way up to $25 per invite. Think about the number of addressees on your invitation list and decide on a price range you are comfortable with. This step in and of itself can save you literally days of reviewing wedding invitation styles.
Another preliminary cut off area is the availability of the insert cards and envelopes that you require. You do not want to go through the trouble of finding matching cards from another vendor let alone the hassle of trying to coordinate with two vendors in order to get your invitations out on time. Save yourself the headache. Think about what you want to include in your invitations and eliminate those cards and manufacturers who do not offer properly coordinated inserts.
