Web site developer Don Bryant decided to make CD wedding invitations for the 115 guests to his wedding. The discs featured a photo montage of the he and his bride, a two-minute video of them asking the guests to attend, and directions to the ceremony and reception.
A couple of months later, Elegant Invites Inc. was born.
The company is a small family venture, sharing office space in Boca Raton. The groom Bryant handles the creative and technical aspects of the business, while his bride Nancy, works on marketing.
Invitations run $400 to $600 for basic invites, or all the way up to $3000 for the super-snazzy stuff.
Most of their customers use the CD's to supplement rather than replace their wedding invitations
