Wedding of the Century

Prince Charles' original wedding to Diana was dubbed the Wedding of the Century. You had to be on another planet 23 years ago to not know about it. The event was as grandiose as it gets. In contrast, Prince Charles' wedding to Camilla is going to be a relatively low key event.

The Scotsman has an interesting article talking about the differences between the weddings, and also a few interesting anecdotes - like:

Diana inverting the Prince’s names - calling him “Philip Charles Arthur George”.

Charles promised “with all thy goods I share with thee” rather than “all my worldly goods I share with thee”.

Nice site Steven. Brings back memories of sharing all my worldly goods 4 times.
