BKWeddings.com is a resource for the wedding community at large - including wedding professionals, engaged couples, media outlets interested in the latest wedding news, and anybody else who is interested in the topic of weddings.
We see several problems with the existing base of websites available - even though that base is quite large. There are a plethora of sites out there looking to turn a quick buck off of the engaged consumer base - a base of customers that spends a great deal of money every year. Unfortunately they focus primarily on getting your money and not on serving you as best they could.
In many market niches, this kind of behavior is countered by dedicated members of the end user community who have built incredible web sites that provide information and resources free of charge. Unfortunately, in this market niche, the potential saviors typically move on once they have gotten married. I wouldn't go so far as to consider this website a savior to the community, but through consistent hard work and dedication we hope to become a resource that almost everyone will turn to at some point during their brush with the topic of weddings - be it during their engagement, during their planning of renewal of wedding vows, or during their careers in the wedding industry, or whatever.
The purpose of our site is to provide information, tools, resources, and links to outside resources that can handle virtually all of your wedding needs.
